September 11, 2013 Sunset In Castine, Maine.

Robert and I decided to see Castine's sunset at Wadsworth Cove.

I took Daisy and Duke for another Lymes disease vaccine shot.  Then I took them to

Lake Alamoosook for an hour swim.  Daisy found a few apples along the shore and ate them.

Duke searched for minnows in his creek.  I saw him digging some in the water.  Then I

took them to McDonalds for a double cheeseburger each and fries too.  Duke was excited

about this.  He even ran up the back steps to my house just to be near the cheeseburger

bag!  They hardly ever have such a treat.  I think they had a good day.

Here is Duke rolling in the grass after his cheeseburger and fries.  Look at that smile!

Here is a view from Dyce's Head in Castine.  Have a good night.

What a GREAT day off! D + D felt indulged + Treated for sure. Way to MAKE their day, Renee...

I am trying to make sure each day is good for them. I sit outside while they explore our yard keeping an eye out for long distant dashes! Ha ha. Duke will be 14 in February 2014. Daisy will be 14 this November 2013. They are four months apart in age. Trying to keep them comfortable. Make them something new this morning. Chicken and rice with veggies. Duke had 4 servings. Daisy was comfortable for 2. I think Duke would have eaten another serving! They have not wanted to eat their breakfast of dried dog food for several months.

Incredible sky shots Renee!!

See - everyone likes McDonald's once in a while!! (:

My Eskimo Dog is 13 and just stopped eating dry dog food too. I think it's his teeth. I found fresh pet at Petco, it's great. I'll have to take him to MCd for a burger.

Your sunset scenes are magnificent!

Sharron, you make me laugh about mc donalds! Yes we all do love a cheeseburger once in awhile.

Hi Jane. Luckily Daisy and Duke have all their teeth and no cavities! They just are getting very picky about their food. Good luck with your eskimo dog.
