January 5, 2012 Winter Creek Painting! Visitors To Lammers Gallery!

"Winter Creek" 4x6 oil on copper.   Sold!

I had a very exciting day today!  Visitors from Poland Springs, Maine all the way
to my Lammers Gallery to see my paintings.  I felt very honored to have Winter
guests!  Daisy and Duke were besides themselves.  They enjoyed a Frosty Paws
treat.  The visitor's dog waiting in the car also enjoyed one of Daisy and Duke's Frosty
Paws ice cream.  The visitors reported rave reviews from their boxer.  He will be
addicted soon.  I kept a watchful eye on my dogs during their visit.  I saw Duke
trying to get into the man's lap.  Once I saw Duke on his back with his feet up into
the air trying to get the man to hold his feet.  Daisy and Duke put on a great show
for their guests playing tug of war with a stuffed animal.  They wrestled.  They bite
each other's feet.  Oh yes they did it all!  I am so pleased to have met such wonderful
people today who appreciated my paintings.  Thank you!

"Monhegan Path" 6x6 oil on copper.  Sold!

"Sailing By Camden Hills" 6x6 oil on copper.  Sold!

"Franconia Notch" 6x6 oil on copper.  Sold!

"Tree Hugger" 5x7 oil on copper.  Sold!

Another painting sold of a Belfast tug.  I can't seem to find a photo of it!  Then I read

my aol.com mail to discover I had sold "Green Winter Sky" too!

Last night I was so busy painting on a winter commission painting.  I couldn't

get the wood fire to start.  Daisy was so cold she was shivering.  Her teeth were

shattering she was so cold.  So I turned on the oven in the kitchen!  I decided

to put some french fries in there.  When Robert came home all he saw was the

french fries for dinner.  I was still painting.  I looked up to see him having a grapefruit

and a tomato for desert.  I think I had better come up with a better dinner tonight!

I am excited about painting snow!  It is great fun painting in my car.  Yes there

are some globs of paint on the interior of the car.  I try to wipe the oil paint off

before it dries.  Have a good night!  Let's paint snow!
