"Lilac Breeze" 4x5 oil on copper 250$ framed in gold and shipped.
I believe I saw this lilac bush near the Monhegan Library or in Stonington by the wharf.
It was fun to paint!

I paid a visit to the green abandoned house in Bucksport.
One January day I painted this house.

Here is that painting sold long ago.

I decided to look into the windows of the green house.
This is the parlor.
Looks like the couch is lying upside down.
I admired the crown molding.

What a nice banister for the stairs.

I was surprised to find a tricycle in the front room!

The walls have been torn down in the middle of the house.

One downstairs bathroom has a claw footed tub but it is buried with other items.

I was admiring the old tractor when a bird flew out of the tractor.

On the upper front bumper I saw a nest with tiny blue eyes inside!
Each blue egg was the size of my thumb.
I saw one robin and several black birds with a red patch on their wing.
I have seen robin's eggs.
Robin's eggs were larger than these blue eggs.

Today was Luke's birthday!
He is nine years old.
Ted brought us Amish donuts.
I was having a pumpkin donut when Monet lost his mind, repeatedly jumped on me, until he stole my donut.
My white shirt was ruined with muddy paw prints.
I was covered in mud.
I should have not eaten the donut infront of Monet.
Monet has a fierce sweet tooth!
I went upstairs and brought out a plate of fresh deviled eggs.
Ted had a couple then divided up the rest of the eggs between each dog.

Each dog had three deviled eggs each.
What a fun birthday party.

Luke was content and took a short nap.
Lily took off with my soda bottle. She unscrewed the lid and dumped out the soda.
We decided this was Lily's way of telling me not to drink any more soda!

It was a good day for all. Happy Birthday Luke!
Good night.
