October 29, 2011 The Cape Canaveral Seashore Paintout Gala!

"You Go Girl" 4x4 oil on copper. Sold.

I woke up early.  I drove to Smynra Beach for the surfing contest.  I set up to paint!  I decided to paint really small because it was raining and windy.  I saw a beautiful tanned surfer girl not older than 16.  I decided to try to paint her in going out with her surf board.  This was tricky painting so small.  I was using my new 000 round brush!

I framed this painting up quickly and headed to the historic Eldora House in the Cape Canaveral National Park.  It sold right away!

Next I needed to get showered and dressed up early for the gala event.  Somehow I did this in record time to be back at the Eldora house within an hour.   I help out greeting visitors.  Two people came looking for me.  They were allowed in to view paintings.  They were such nice people.  Then later a party of six wanted inside to view the paintings.  The house was closed for the preparations of the gala event.  I asked permission for them to enter.  One lady said, "No!"  Another lady said, "Yes!".  So I went back outside to explain the mixed emotions about them entering.  Would they buy a painting?  They said, "Yes, maybe so!".  I went back inside to explain they were probably going to buy a painting!  They said , "Let them in!".  I excorted 6 people who drove all the way from Orlando inside!  I was asked to walk around with them talking about the artists and keeping an eye on paintings.   They liked John Caggiano's paintings.  I explained how John had won many National awards, was very important to the New England painting Societies and organizations.  I told them his prices here today were reasonable compared to his prices in New England.  They bought John's painting for 1500$!  I called John up to tell him the good news!   He was very pleased with me!

"Prickly Pear and the Tortoise" 5x7 oil on copper 300$ sold next!  A couple came in later during the gala event.  They loved this painting.  It was a pleasure sharing with them the story of how I tried to draw the tortoise!  They laughed and enjoyed this.  They met my parents who came to the event.  My Mom loved this painting too.  I can always paint Mom another one!

Here I am at the Gala event holding a skull with a pirate cap.  I ended up selling 7 paintings!  I was the top seller at this event.   There were 49 paintings sold total.  There were a few large paintings sold but most were smaller paintings.

Here is Tom Sadler, a painter at the event.   Tom dressed as a pirate!  It was good fun watching him walk around with his costume.

"The Chocolate Soda" 8x10 oil on copper 550$ framed in black satin with gold.

People seemed to enjoy this painting.  The Little Drug store in downtown Smyrna Beach is a frequently visited place by all ages.  It is still available.  Many people recognized Marge Drew.

I am back home at my parent's house in Winter Park.  I will rest up.  Tomorrow I am doing a demo at a church in New Smyrna Beach for a large art group.  I hope to do a good job!  Have a great night.  Get out and paint!

October 28, 2011 Sold Two More Paintings!

"Fins To The Left" 3x5 300$ Sold today an hour after it was painted!  I framed it in beautiful black satin with gold.  I hung it in the Eldora historical home.  I was walking to my car.  I met a lady with a Golden Retriever named Bonnie.  Of course I was happy to meet them!  I told her all about Daisy and Duke!  She wanted to see the photo of Daisy and Duke hanging on my wall next to my paintings.  I showed her this painting.  She loved it!  She liked the idea of the Frosty Paws ice cream treat or Daisy and Duke!

"Apollo Beach" 4x4 250$ sold today too!

"Natural Canaveral" 8x10 450$ sold yesterday!  Daisy and Duke will be so happy!  They just love ice cream!

So far I have sold 5 paintings.  The gala event is tomorrow night.  Most of my sold paintings are gone home to their new owners.  I do have 5 paintings left for the gala event people to view.  I will wake up early tomorrow to paint a few more.

October 27, 2011 My First Demo, Sunset Paintout, and Two Sales!

"Sunrise Glow" 5x7 oil on copper.  Sold tonight right after it was painted and framed!

Trish, Cathy, and I were lined up painting at sunset at a restaurant called JB Fish house.  We were all painting the Kyaks.  I heard a funny squeaking noise.  I looked over to watch Kathy using a creative tool to paint in grass quickly.  She was using a pizza cutter!  Who would have thought of that?  It seemed to work very well.  She could turn the pizza cutter slightly for curled long grass.  Pretty cool.  Trish's painting turned out wonderful.  I didn't get a chance to see Cathy's.

Daisy and Duke will celebrate the painting sale as usual.  Robert explained Daisy and Duke had their ice cream treat the other night.  Daisy was so excited about the icecream, when she bit down on the container, the ice cream shot out.  The ice cream flew across the floor.  Daisy eagerly ate her ice cream in two bites.  Then she ate her paper cup it was in!   Duke slowly ate his ice cream.

"Bali Rocking Horse" 4x4 oil on copper.

I did my first demo yesterday.  About 15 people came as far away as Orlando and Flager Beach!  I worked on this painting quickly.  I shared a lot of information.  I asked other event painters to bring their painting equipment.  I gave them each a 8x10 copper panel.  While I demoed they painted.  It was suspenseful!

After I finished my painting, I asked them to call out a number between 1 and 100.  A lady called out 28 and won the painting!

Charles Dickinson painted his amazing first copper painting.  I loved how he left the edges free of paint!

    Have a great night!

October 26, 2011 I Painted Inside of a Ice Cream Parlor in New Smyrna!

"The Chocolate Soda" 8x10 oil on copper panel. 550$ (50% proceeds goes to the Childrens Environmental Education Center at Cape Canaveral National Park) Framed in Black satin wood with gold.

Today we were asked to paint on Flagler Avenue or Downtown New Smyrna.  I asked permission to paint inside the drug store on Canal Street.  My friend and painter Marge Drew came to find me.  She sat infront of me on a stool and ordered a chocolate soda.  She let me paint her.  She asked me if I wanted a sip of her soda!  I declined but the thought was kind.  This is a difficult scene to paint.  I do like the challenge.

"Another Beautiful Day" 5x7 oil on copper.  I donated this painting to a friend.

I painted New Smyrna beach in the morning before the soda fountain painting.  I had a guy ask me to paint a dead sea turtle.  I told him I couldn't do it.  The turtle was too sad looking.  Another guy asked me to paint him on the beach.  Funny!

I added a few pricklys in my Prickly Pear with Tortise painting.  It looks good now!

Tonight I am getting dressed up for a event at another gallery downtown New Smyrna call Art on Douglas.  I am bringing my soda fountain painting and a few other paintings with me to display!

October 25, 2011 Three New Painting done in Cape Canaveral Seashore National Park!

"Cape Canaveral Surf" 5x7 oil on copper 300$ Framed in black satin wood with gold.  Sold!

"Cape Canaveral Seashore" 5x7 didn't sell at the event.  I gave it to my brother later!

I had another wonderful day painting!

"View From Turtle Mound" 3x5 oil on copper.  Framed in black and gold.  Shipped!  300$  Still Available!

I hiked up to Turtle Mound which is where the highest point is at Cape Canaveral.  The mound was created by Indians.  They put all of their oyster shells in one spot creating a great look out, navigational device.  It was a bit of an effort lugging my painting equipment to this spot.  The views were worth it!

"Prickly Pears and the Tortise" 5x7 oil on copper 300$ framed in black satin with gold.  Sold!

The last few days when I have seen a Tortise, I pull the car over.  The first day I ran up to the Tortise.  The Tortise ran away into the bushes.  The next day, I watched the Tortise from afar.  He disappeared quickly.  I was able to get a sketch in.  Today, I spotted another Tortise.  I was able to see him fairly well until again he ran away!  I guess these Tortises don't trust painters.  Today I found nice Prickly Pears near parking lot #4.  I decided to paint in the Tortise under the Prickly Pears.  If the painting failed, I would just wipe it off.  Nothing ventured nothing gained.  I do like to challenge myself!  It makes life more fun.  I liked the painting.  I framed it up!  It looks nice.

Here is the scene at the end of the National Park, parking lot #5.  What a pretty place!  I love it here!

I sold this painting today!  "The Perfect Job" 4x4 oil on copper!  One down, five more to go! Sold.

Have a great night!  Get out and paint.  All sorts of adventures await you.

I painted today at the very end of Cape Canaveral National Park.

Here I am painting at my favorite beach!  Lovely day to be a painter.  I used a piece of copper for a palette.  I taped it to the lid of the open M easel!  No problems today with the palette falling.

Next after lunch proved by a wonderful chef, I painted "Apollo Beach" 4x4 oil on copper.  250$.  This painting is framed in a lovely black satin with gold.

This is the new frame I am using on most of my work.  It is a nice frame that looks great on any painting.  It has a classy look!

I tried to paint a Gopher Turtle.  He ran off.  They are fast when they want to be.  I was hoping to do a splendid portrait of him.  I will bring some Turtle food tomorrow.  Maybe I will have better luck.

I am off to a barbeque!  Have a great night!

October 23, 2011 The Cape Canaveral Sea Shore Paintout 2011!

"The Perfect Job" 4x4 oil on copper panel.  Framed in gold wood.  250$ (50% goes to the Cape Canaveral Paint Out Fund).

Today I checked in at the Cape Canaveral Sea Shore Paintout at the historic home named Eldora.  They presented me with a name tag to wear around my neck, a yellow flag, and a black bag containing a couple of t shirts with last years painting.  I headed out to paint.

I drove around New Smyrna Beach looking for a painting spot.  There were many great choices.  I saw a red life guard tower at Bethune Beach at 27th Street.  The strong verticals of the tower against all of the horizontal lines of the surf struck me as a good subject.  The colors were great too!  Lots of bright greens from the ocean complemented by the red life guard tower.  The lady life guard looked as if she was enjoying herself.  She stood up a few times to blow a whistle.  There were hardly anyone near the water to watch.  I decided her job would be my second choice in life.  Luckily my painting gig is working out pretty well!  I just need to work harder!

So I set up to paint on the boardwalk.  It was very windy.  My plastic Masterson palette slipped off the small platform of my Open M Easel.  It landed upside down on the brick pavers.  I tried to clean up the oil paint.  I painted more.  The palette fell off again this time landing upside down on my new tennis shoe!  Then later it slipped off once more but I caught it in mid air!  Ah Ha!
"The Perfect Job"  turned out well.  I bravely went over to the lady lifeguard and showed her my painting.  She was very happy to see it.  I told her to come to the gala event at Eldora Saturday night!  I think it made her day.

A ranger took the painters around in a van to see excellent painting sites in the National Park.  A chef prepared sloppy joes for the artists.  We ate on the picket table overlooking the lagoon.  It was nice to see the artists again.  I know most of these painters from past events.  I headed to my hostess house.  I am staying in a carriage house recently remodeled in back of a beautiful wood three story blue mansion on the intercoastal river.  It is very elegant inside the carriage house.  I know I will be comfortable here during my week long visit.

Have a great night!  Get outside to paint!

"The Wedding Dress" 5x7 oil on copper.  Framed in black satin with gold.  Shipped 250$

I painted this scene at night on Park Avenue in Winter Park.  I need to make the manikin's face more attractive!    They have the most beautiful dresses in the windows there!  Very nice people are strolling about who live off the avenue.

My Mom took me to a wonderful Indian Restaurant yesterday for lunch.  I had Chicken Tandoori!  Wow.  This is an amazing dish.  When I get home, I will find the recipe.  I want to cook this dish for Robert.  They also had a light fluffy crisp bread made of chickpea flour.  Even Duke and Daisy will like this.

Have a great night!  I will have a lot to show you tomorrow!  I will be on the beach tomorrow painting again!  Maybe a sunset painting too.

October 16, 2011 Fixed Some Paintings! What do you think?

"Autumn Walk at Wadworth Cove" 4x4 oil on copper.  Framed in black satin with gold inset.  Shipped!

I had a friend, Jennifer Holmes, look at my recent work.  She suggested a few things for me to change regarding this painting.  I made the golden retriever on the left, Duke, look as if he is walking.  He had a curved back before.  I straightened the line of the roof and porch.  I had the hardest time painting straight lines.  I will find a small t square to use soon.  She also said to use a level to make sure the easel is straight!

She suggested I add some highlights to the Autumn trees in the background to make them look like they have body.

Jennifer suggested I get rid of the dog and lighten the shadow in the foreground.  I did this.  I do think I like it better.  I am not sure about this painting still.  When I come back from Florida in late November, I might add some snow to this painting!  I can't believe how difficult some small paintings are!  I have spent over 12 hours or more on each of these!

Here is a sweet photo of Duke cleaning Daisy's face.  She always closes her eyes.  Duke loves his Daisy!

Today they were very naughty!  They both ran across US 1 chasing a man who was walking up Nickelson Avenue.  They made it across the busy street.  Then they ran back across the busy highway.  A car waited til they crossed the second time.  They are so lucky to be alive.  Robert will make a chicken wire fence for a temporary fix.  They need a fenced in area so skunk, porcupines, and chasing men are not an issue!

Have a great night!  It is not easy to paint.  Straight lines are impossible!  Get out and paint!  Thanks Jennifer for your help!

October 15, 2011 A New Chicken Painting! Two Other Paintings Completed!

"Busy Girl" 6x6 oil on copper.  Framed in light gold wood.  Shipped free!  350$

I finished this chicken painting today!  I paint chickens using a computer monitor.  I have painted many chickens in my painting on location from the experience of working inside the studio.  They have a triangular shape.  So when I am outside painting a chicken coup, I paint in white triangular shapes.  Then I add a few details of the red comb and two feet!  Really not very hard to paint a small undetailed chicken.  This chicken is more difficult to paint.  I think it turned out good.

"Autumn Walk at Wadsworth Cove" 4x4 oil on copper.  Framed in black satin with a gold inset.  Shipped free!  250$

I added a few more legs to Daisy and Duke.  Yesterday I only had two legs on each dog.  I like the way I have Daisy sprinting playfully.  That happened quite by accident.  My brush moved a certain way, I liked it, and so I left it!  I like this painting.  It is a good memory of a spendid day with Robert and Daisy and Duke!

"Daisy and the Silver Birch Grove" 4x4 oil on copper.  Framed in black satin wood with gold inset.  Shipped free!  250$

I worked more on this painting.  When I saw Daisy standing here infront of the Silver Birch Grove, there was something compelling I saw.  I couldn't figure it out until today.  I like the silver face of Daisy contrasted with the Silver Birch trees!  She was just standing there taking a break from swimming after a few sticks.  I liked her pose.  She has aged gracefully. She is still very spunky!

Here she is today roling in Autumn leaves.  This would make a nice painting!

I am getting ready to fly to Florida to paint at the Canaveral Seashore Paintout 2011 in New Symrna Beach. If you are in the area, come to the gala event!  Here is the information:  www.FriendsofCanaveral.com   I will stay with my parents before and after the event.  I am mailing down all of my clothes, frames, and painting equipment!  Daisy and Duke may go to work with Robert.  They like being therapy dogs for the retired people in the home.

Have a great night!  Get out and paint!

October 9. 2011 Plein Aire in Castine, Maine Today! Two Paintings to see!

"Castine's British Channel" 6x6 oil on copper.  May need more work..but a good start I think.

I took Daisy and Duke to a near by School.  We jogged around two football fields.  Then I took them to Mc Donalds.  I ordered them each a 1$ double cheese burger without ketchup as a treat!  Daisy and Duke say "Thanks Sharon for the Bar Harbor Art Show painting purchase".   They decided to have a cheeseburger instead of Frosty Paws icecream.  They don't get cheeseburgers very often.  They love looking at the cheeseburger photos at the drive thru window.  Duke usually wants to order the big cheeseburger by how he is looking at that big photo!  They absolutely love their cheeseburgers.  I wait till I get home, cool off the burger, then hand them each one.  I made the mistake along time ago letting them have their cheeseburger in the car.  Duke's burger slipped out of the bun down in between the car's seat.  Duke was broken hearted.  He was frantic about me retrieving his burger!  I had to pull the car over to hunt down the burger.  What a mess.

Next I drove to Castine.  We are having such warm weather.  I couldn't resist painting pleinair today!

I hadn't driven far into the town of Castine when I saw this scene.  There was a bright white sailboat in the harbor.  The blue ocean and the bright orange maple tree caught me eye.  I pulled over and started to paint.  I had the song, "Fireworks" on my itouch.  It was pretty loud.  There was no one for miles so I thought!  A lady caught me singing along to this song!  I was pretty embarrassed.   She was laughing so I must have looked ridiculous!  I may have been dancing around a bit also.  I really like this song.  I am painting for a while when a car pulls up.  Gregory Dunham and his wife are smiling!  They tell me the history of this harbor.  Very interesting.  The harbor's name is British Channel so Boston people came to buy homes here.  Something about them feeling as if it was safe to purchase homes because of it's name.

Next I drove to downtown Castine.  I decided to paint this yellow house by the sea.  I am not finished with this painting.   I would like to add a lady  walking a white and black dog.  The sun went down!  Lost my light

A man told me the yellow house was owned by Betsy.  She passed away last year.  I named the painting after Bessie.

Another lady told me Gregory painted this very house.  He called his painting, "The Butterfly House".  The lady told me Betsy owned a print of his painting.  She was very proud of this print.

Another man told me he knew of this famous painting also.  He said it was very nice.

Another lady drove up.  She said, "Do you know Gregory Dunham?"  I said, "Yes."  She said she liked my website with Daisy and Duke!  She checked out my painting I was working on and drove off smiling!  What fun I had painting in Castine today.  I discovered lots of history, met many neighbors, and had fun!

Daisy and Duke are sleeping.  I am exhausted!  Another beautiful day here in Maine!  Goodnight!

     Get out and paint!

October 8, 2011 Successful And Fun Penobscot Marine Museum Paintout!

"Sunlight and Shadows" 6x6 oil on copper panel.  Sold Today at Penobscot Marine Museum at Auction!

I woke up early, played with Daisy and Duke, fed them, and drove to the Museum to sign in for the paint out.  Many great painters were already at work painting on site.  I was already impressed!

I was dazzled by thehouse shadow.  I liked the crosswalk lines going into the light.  I decided to paint in a golden retriever on the left hand side.  The painting needed a little dog resting in the shadows.  I should practice doing more dogs at home so I can really do a good job painting a dog in on location.  Maybe I should study a running cat or two also.  I think this would make these street scene more interesting.

I finished up at 2:00pm, framed my painting, and drove home.  I took care of Daisy and Duke.  I chased them around my car a few times.  I threw a stick some.  I pretended to ambush Duke a few times.  Robert plays a lot with Daisy and Duke.  They are really missing him.

I headed back to the Museum reception.  Each painting or photograph was on easels with a sheet.  People were placing bids.  I put in steep bids for three of my painter friends to help elevate their painting price.  Still prices for a painting did not exceed
360$. This painting was very large, a 16x20.  The work created was excellent!  People were so pleased when the auction ended.  Hugs were given from the new painting owner and painter.  It was a very rewarding experience.  All of the money went to the photography part of the museum.

There were five different people bidding for my work!   The lady who won the bid worked in this gold building.  She owns a golden lab/ridgeback dog like the one I painted.  She was so happy.  I went home feeling great!

Have a great night!  Buy a painting for a Christmas present!  It will be the best present!

October 7, 2011 A Chicken painting!

"In The Flower Bed" 6x6 oil on copper.  Framed in Gold wood.  Shipped free!  350$

Here is another chicken painting!  I may tone down some of that blue in the shadow area of the chicken.  I was painting late into the night.  It is more difficult to see the colors of the paint at night!

Daisy and Duke  were enjoying a Frosty Paws Ice Cream treat to celebrate a painting sale at the Bar Harbor Art Show.  This is for Erika and Joe, honeymooners from New York, painting of Thuya Garden!  Daisy and Duke say Thank you and so do I!

Daisy has an interesting habit of waking Robert up each morning.  I don't know how she can tell time.  But Robert is out of town visiting his family in Holland.  Daisy is now trying to wake me up each morning!  She also decided she wanted to stay outside today.  I stood there while she layed in the sun.  It was a really pretty day.  I decided Daisy had a great idea!  Daisy and Duke and I sat in the sun for an hour.  Then we went for a hike on Verona Island.  We came upon a barn with two horses.  The horses looked at us with great suprise.  Daisy and Duke starred at the horses without barking.  I was impressed with how they acted.  Robert has spent much time training Duke and Daisy.  In their younger years, Daisy and Duke would have dragged me over to the horses.  They would have chased the horses around and caused a lot of trouble!

Tomorrow is the paint out at the Penobscot Marine Museum!  I am looking forwards to this.  I hope I can paint well!

October 6, 2011 Three New Chicken Paintings For You To See!

"Dirty Girl" 6x6 oil on copper.  Framed in black wood with gold.  Shipped free.  350$ Sold.

Today I painted all day until Daisy came up to me wagging her tail.  She was letting me know it was her dinner time!  I can remember when she was a puppy, her grabbing my paint brush and running out the doggy door into the backyard.  I am very happy Daisy isn't doing this anymore.  I never did find those two paint brushes!

"Dirty Boy" 6x6 oil on copper.  Framed in black satin with gold.  Shipped free.  350$

This is a rooster from Horsepower Farm in Blue Hill.  His name is Ghost.  I have painted him many times.  He has a great look hear.  I bet he was wondering why I was set up painting in his barn.  I tried loading my paint brush with a few different paint colors so I could make a more interesting brush stroke.  You can see a few of these strokes in the dark spots in the foreground.  Fun!

"Just One More Bite!"  4x4 oil on copper.  Framed in black satin wood with gold.  Shipped free.  250$

I followed this chicken to her chicken coup in Morrill, Maine.  She was so pretty standing eating!  I really like to paint these chickens.  It is fun!  Chickens have such great expressions.  They are a universal subject that any age can enjoy.

I am leaving some copper showing through.  At the Bar Harbor Art Show people told me how much they enjoyed the copper peaking through.  I have decided to start to seal my paintings when they are dry with Gamblin's Cold Wax instead of Gamblin's Galkyd.  The Cold Wax gives a mat finish.  The Gallery owner of Coco Vivo likes the mat finish better.  I will give it a try.  Art Conservators I spoke with told me either one will properly seal the copper paintings.  The nice thing about the Gamblin's Cold Wax, it can be removed anytime.

I am painting with both hands for holiday shows!  I have a stack of chicken paintings to do!  Have a great night.  Get out and paint!

I am painting at the Penobscot Marine Museum's Paint Out Saturday on October 8!  If you live close by, come out to watch us work.  There will be Scott Moore and Nancy Barnes painting too!  They will be auctioning off the wet paintings.  Should be fun!

October 5, 2011 How To Paint A Chicken!

"The Chicken Dance"  4x4 oil on copper panel.  Framed in black satin wood lined with a gold lip!  Shipped free!  250$ Sold.

Here is how I painted my oil painting on copper metal panel.  First I drew out several small sketches.

Then I sanded down my copper panel.  I drew my drawing with a felt tip pen onto the copper!

Then I painted with my oils on the copper panel.  I used Titanium White by Le Franc.  This is the whitest oil paint I have found.  I also used Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Red Light, Indian Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Quinacridone Red all by Gamblin Artist Oils, and also Verona Green by Le Franc.  I didn't use any medium.  I used a 8 flat Old Holland kolinsky sable brush at first.

I have used my Titanium white with a touch of Cadmium Yellow Light in the sunlit areas of the chicken.  I used a mixture of Cobalt Blue and Titanium White in the shadow areas.

Then I used some Cobalt Blue, Indian Yellow, and Cadmium Red Light with titanium white together to paint reflected light in the shadow areas of the chicken.  I also painted a mixture of Cobalt Blue and Quinacridone Red in the darker shadow areas of the chicken.  I painted the rooster's red comb with some Cadmium Red Light.  The feet were a combination of Cadmium Red Light, Cadmium Yellow.  Hightlights on the chicken's feet, were Titanium White with a touch of Cadmium Yellow light.

I painted some purples created from Ultramarine Blue and Quinacridone Red in the shadow areas of the chicken onto the grassy areas.  Noticed I left a few spots of copper in the shadow of the chicken.

I have painted grass using a many mixtures of Verona green, Cadmium Yellow Light and Verona Green, Cobalt Blue and Verona and Titanium, and last a lighter version of the last mixture.

I add some warm colors onto the grass areas by mixing Cadmium Red Light and Cadmium Yellow Light with a touch of Titanium White.  I mix a lighter version of this adding more white.

I feel like my painting is out of control now!  Got to fix this.

Decided the painting needed to be simplified!  I used a large square brush and softened the grass areas using vertical strokes.  Then I went back into the grass areas painting in some chicken scratching shadow colors.

This is my finished painting.  "The Chicken Dance!".

October 2, 2011 Daisy Raids My Candy Apples!

I made red candy apples last night!  I wrapped each one and set them on the kitchen table.  Daisy and Duke watched curiously from afar!  I have a new dutch door so they can't get into the kitchen.  But today I accidentally forgot to close this door.  I was upstairs for an hour.  I can downstairs to find one candy apple stick on the floor.  Daisy's eyes were a little larger than normal.  She was wagging her tail.  Duke was still taking a nap. I guess Daisy decided she deserved one candy apple.

Here are the little angels sleeping last night.  They sure are large!  I guess a candy apple is not such an unhealthy thing for a golden retriever to eat.  I bet she enjoyed this!

Duke and Daisy had their Frosty Paws ice cream treat!  This is for another Leslie painting sale!  Thanks Leslie!  You are the best!  Have a great night!
